I made this painting series by attaching antique linen damask to canvas resulting in works that have textures like frescoes and painted walls. Some use pieces of a tablecloth from the estate of Margherita, Queen of Italy (1851-1926). They are the ones with the crowns and "M" monograms. They are in quiet shades of pale blues, yellows and pinks. (especially lovely seen in person)
